Ready, Set, Go!

That's how I felt the moment I looked at the positive pregnancy test on December 21, 2011. I took a long and over exaggerated deep breath in and even longer breath out while trying to absorb the news that Randy and I had been waiting on for what seemed like ages. "Thank  you, Lord" "Thank you, Lord" "Thank you, Lord" was all I could say. Randy has been all smiles ever since we found out. I am convinced that he is the one of the proudest fathers-to-be out there. He's so over protective already.

We are so ready for Baby Greene to finally grace us with his/her presence. We are waiting patiently and trying to soak in each and every second of our Lord's precious gift from above. We wish we were closer to home so we could cherish each and every step of this pregnancy together with our family, but thankful to only be a few hours away. We see quite a few trips home in our near future, and I fully expect our guest bedroom to stay occupied quite often from now on. In the mean time, I'm going to use this blog as another way to enjoy this very special time in our lives as well as keep all of our close friends and family up-to-date with the latest Baby Greene news.

Baby was moving all over the place!

How far along? 13 weeks, 1 day
Total weight gain: None yet but I know its coming soon
Maternity clothes? No but won't be long. All my pants are snug
Stretch marks? Not yet
Sleep: Can't get enough of it. Sleeping well thanks to my Boppy Total Body Pregnancy Pillow. Thanks, Mom!
Best moment this week: Two milestone's this week...heard our babies heart beat for the first time and saw our baby moving all around.

Miss Anything? Not really, I thought i'd be missing all of that caffeine but it's really not that bad and caffeine free coke tastes just like regular.
Movement: No but can't wait!
Food cravings: Haribo Gold-Bears but this is nothing new, i've always been addicted to all things Haribo. If you haven't tried their gummies you are truly missing out on a wonderful wonderful thing!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I haven't had any morning sickness at all but have to eat something every couple of hours or I start to feel a lil queasy.
Gender: ??????

Labor Signs: No, thank the Lord.
Symptoms: I feel really good right now except for the occasional tension headache and lower back pain. But nothing at all to complain about. This has been such a great pregnancy so far!
Belly Button in or out? Innie
Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: BOTH! I can go from overly happy to sad then grumpy then angry then anxious then happy all over again in a matter of minutes.
Looking forward to: Watching my belly grow.
